updated the macOS from 8.5 to 8.6 by way of trying to put in linuxppc…so much for that :(

going to a rave on friday…..man, i miss going to those things…..

life is picking up.

i have no reason to watch, now that the lone gunmen are gone.

not much has happened lately…..you know that picture of my new haircut? well color it fire-engine red, and now you have my current hair-do.

seems like everyone in the neighborhood is getting pregnant but me. :(

got a pager, so im like, always on call for work. (already had my damn cow-orker call me at damn 12:30 in the damn morning…..oh well. c'est la vie. i have my own agenda for work, that is yet to be publicly disclosed.

on the positive side…..im learning the fine art of a Gorean submissive…..it's good fun….take your run-of-the-mill Dom/sub Master/slave relationship and throw in a little Dungeons and Dragons (and Dune) and you got it. 'course, scott's learning to be a proper Master as well :)

but other than that…nothing of note.

but i got a Mac out of it!

there was a Centris660AV (which is one of the old '040 Macs) sitting on my workbench for a fairly long while, and it has this little problem—sometimes when you boot it, you dont get any display, you have to power-cycle it until you do get visual…but then, sometimes it works. it started out as a love/hate relationship with me and this Mac, and it's little problem kind of grew on me. i knew i couldnt sell it in the condition it is in, and i couldnt locate the source of the problem (kind of reminds me of….me!)…and it's a wonderful little machine when it works…..so i kept it for myself. 150$$ later, i have a Mac in my house.
