i'll be putting up a directory of them, i think.

i didnt get much accomplished today. most of the day was spent chasing one of my other cats around with a bunch of napkins (he gets stomach-sensitive at change, so he throws up), the rest was spent in awe of tima and her new babies. she's so proud, but she's also very tired. i've been able to help her move the kittens when she wants them moved, as well as bring her food and water, so she can rest.
the whole queening experience last night was very wonderful. i dont think it should ever be something people get used to seeing. what's odd is that when tima knew it was time, somehow she let me know, and i went to get her some water and to be with her. she wouldnt really start pushing until muppet and i were both there with her.
it's amazing that even at birth they all have distinct personalities. the first one has issues with rooting too deep for a teat and then panicking when smooshed, and spends most of the day deep alseep… the second one out absolutely *hates* being cleaned, the third one (the only black one) likes to disturb the other two's warmth bundle frequently, as well as explore. tima looks a lot more relaxed and thin now that the kittens are out, though. it's defiently good. also, after she birthed, the cognisance returned to her face, she's smart again (for the last two weeks or so it looked like no-one was home), and takes great pride in being able to reach her butt for cleaning. i can relate.
